Exposed Aggregate

How it works

Exposed aggregate is a decorative finish often used for driveways!  It's poured like standard concrete, but a special stone, such as river rock, is used in the mix. A retardent is then sprayed on top of it to "eat the top layer," which then exposes the aggregate! We will usually seal afterwards to bring out the color.
